The ANC also arrested one more accused in this case from the factory, police said.

The Ghatkopar Unit of ANC had seized 10.2 kg of MD worth Rs 2.04 crore on January 9 from a car at Chhedanagar in suburban Chembur and had arrested a man from western suburbs in Mumbai, an official said.

During the investigation, it came to light that the narcotics was brought from Karnataka.
The police team, which was sent to Karnataka, raided a factory unit in Haveri district, in which they seized 1,000 litres of chemical, 261 kg bromine liquid, 14 litre another chemical, as well as seven kg powder, used for manufacturing the drug.

“Police have sealed the factory after the raid and brought another accused to Mumbai,” the police said.
