Assault Case: Police search for absconding members of BJP MLA Raju Kage

Belagavi: As many as 13 accused along with Kagawad BJP MLA Raju Kage absconded after a FIR filed by the police in an assault case by the members of Raju Kage family on January 9.  Congress party activist Vivek Shetty was seriously injured after an assault by the members of Raju Kage family. He is being treated in a hospital in Sangli. An 11 member team with weapons attacked Shetty alleging that he was posted derogatory comments against MLA’s daughter on social media. Four people have been taken into the custody by the police who were allegedly supported Raju Kage family abscond. Police have been searching for MLA’s family.
