Bengaluru: In the wake of protests urging to lift ban on Kambala in Tulu Nadu, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has said “the state government is infavour of Kambala and supports the sport to organise it in Karnataka.” He was speaking in the state capital on Monday.
He urged the union government to help the people and state to lift the ban on Kambala. Kambala and Jallikattu are the traditional sports events with rich traditional background. Therefore the union government should act immediately as-like what it did for Tamil Nadu to organise Jallikattu, chief minister noted.
