Ranchi: JMM members on Monday created ruckus in the Jharkhand Assembly demanding revocation of suspension of three party MLAs and one Congress legislator, leading to the adjourment of House twice.

They also demanded withdrawal of amendments to CNT Act and SPT Act.

In the morning session just before the beginning of Question Hour, even after repeated requests by Speaker Dinesh Oraon, JMM members continued their protests, forcing Oraon to adjourn the House till 12.45 PM.

The ruckus continued after resumption, forcing the Speaker to adjourn it again till 2 PM.

BJP MLA Manish Jaiswal and Raj Mahal legislator Ananth Ojha said no member has the right to “hijack” the House and urged the Speaker to take action against the protestors.
