Funeral Ceremony of brave soldier Sandeep Shetty held

Hassan: Funeral ceremony of late Indian army soldier Sandeep Shetty (26) was held at his native village Devihalli in Hassan taluk on Wednesday with all state respect. He was died in aavalanche on last Wednesday at Bandipora district in Jammu and Kashmir. His funeral ceremony was held according to the rituals of his community. Thousands of people along with government officials were participated in the ceremony.

Sandeep Shetty was the only son of Puttaraju and Gangamma couples of Devihalli. Besides Sandeep, the couples have a married daughter. Inspired by patriotism, Sandeep was joined Indian Army in 2010 leaving his dream to become a teacher. After joining the armed force, he visited his native village for only four times.
