BS Yeddyurappa bombs on State Govt; alleges misuse of BBMP tax revenue worth Rs 3.5K Cr

Bengaluru: BJP staged protests against Congress led state government on Monday at all the districts of the state and in Bengaluru urging the state government to stop corruption and work towards the development of the state.
“Karnataka state government has involved in serious corruption cases. Bribing the Congress party high command, taking bribe while implementing the development projects and unaccounted money, property seized at the residences, offices of the Congress party leaders shows the direct involvement of the state government in corruption. Therefore, if BJP led government comes into power in the next state assembly elections, then our government will order for an inquiry against the corruption cases of the current government,” said Karnataka BJP President BS Yeddyurappa speaking at the protest staged before the town hall in the state capital as part of the state wide protests against the state government.
Former BJP chief minister made another allegation against the state government stating, “Rs 3, 500 crore tax revenue of Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has been misused by the government and I’ll release proof related to the allegation very soon.” He also assured that, “BJP is ready to order for an inquiry against Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah against his involvement in various corruption cases, if BJP comes into power in the next state assembly elections.”
