Bengaluru: “Karnataka State Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) working president Dinesh Gundu Rao is illegally acquiring pasture land and the documents supporting the allegations will be released soon,” said Karnataka Sate BJP President BS Yeddyurappa speaking to the media persons on Thursday at his party office in the state capital.
Both Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah and Dinesh Gundu Rao have been acquiring the pasture land illegally which is owned by the state government. Therefore an inquiry is essential on the issue, he said.
Speaking on information obtained from the diary of Congress MLC Govindaraju, the BJP leader said an investigation by Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is essential to bring out the truth. The former chief minister also alleged that present Karnataka chief minister has received bribe worth Rs 65 crore in the steel flyover bridge project which was cancelled following protests and amid Govindaraju Diary issue. The dairy found at the residence of Govindaraju during a raid by officials by the Income Tax department last year, allegedly contains the details of the money transferred worth Rs 1000 crore to the party high command in New Delhi by the state congress leaders to retain their positions in the state cabinet and party.
