‘Mission: Impossible 6’ casts Vanessa Kirby as new female lead

Los Angeles: “The Crown” actress Vanessa Kirby has landed a lead role in the upcoming “Mission: Impossible” film.
The 28-year-old actress is in final talks to join Tom Cruise who is set to reprise his role as Ethan Hunt.
Details of her character are still unclear, but the role is expected to be on the same level as Rebecca Ferguson’s in the previous installment, reported Variety.
Ferguson played a love interest of Cruise’s Hunt in the last one.
She will return in the sixth film along with two mainstays Jeremy Renner and Simon Pegg. Christopher McQuarrie is also back as the director of the movie that is set to release on July 27, 2018 in the US.
