Police arrest 4 for murdering girl after using her for witchcraft in Magadi

Magadi: Magadi police have arrested four persons who allegedly murdered a 10 year old girl in Magadi after using her for witchcraft last week. The arrested have been identified as Mohammed Wasil (42), Nasim Taz, a 17 year old boy and another suspect.
The murdered girl, Ayesha was allegedly became a victim of witchcraft after her dead body was found under suspicious circumstances near a trench located on Hoshalli Road in Magadi town on last Friday. The deceased was found missing from late evening hours of March 01 and following her disappearance, her parents had filed a complaint in Magadi police station.
The dead body of the girl was found on Friday and her both hands were tied on her back. The things including metal pieces, lemon and others found near her dead body were usually used for witchcraft, the local people said. Based on this, the people suspected that the girl might have killed by the wizard.
