BJP rule has changed the country: Khanna

Jammu: BJP Jammu and Kashmir in-charge Avinash Rai Khanna today said the party has changed the country and people have accepted its way of governance which reflected in the results of assembly polls.
He held a meeting with party workers at Srinagar ahead of crucial by-elections in Srinagar and Anantnag Lok Sabha seats.
“I am here to congratulate you people for the party’s massive victory in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. BJP has changed the country, which reflected in the (Assembly elections) results,” the BJP national vice president said, adding, he was here to celebrate victory with party workers in Kashmir.
Khanna is on two day visit to Kashmir to take detailed feedback from party workers.
He told the workers that BJP is committed to its agenda of development and good governance in all the states of the country.
“BJP s three year rule has changed the country and people have accepted its mode of governance,” Khanna said, adding it was the reason why people voted for BJP shunning creed, caste and religion.
“People rejected the parties, which believes in divide and rule policy, and voted for BJP,” he said.
BJP state president Sat Sharma asked party workers to gear up for upcoming elections in the state.
He asked workers to participate en masse in the elections.
“We have a chance to choose leaders, who can represent us and work for our welfare,” he said.
“Youth in Kashmir is participating in political activities, which is a good trend,” Sharma said, adding youth in Kashmir has accepted BJP for its commitment for development, good governance and welfare activities.
