Karnataka ACB Arrests BBMP Member in Bribery Case

Bengaluru: A Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) Congress party member was arrested in the state capital by the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Friday morning after he was caught accepting a bribe of Rs 15 lakh from Dhananjay, a contractor.
The ACB team, led by SP Girish conducted the raid and arrested G Krishnamurthy, from Rajaji ward. It is said that he had demanded Rs 30 lakh to release government funds for a development project.
