Kushalnagar Records Maximum 6 Cm Rainfall; Summer Showers likely to Continue

Bengaluru/Mangaluru: Summer rainfall occurred in various parts of the state in the last 24 hours giving relief to the people from the heat.
Kushalnagar in Kodagu district recorded the highest rainfall of 9 cm followed by Bantwal at 6 cm, 4 cm in Bhagamandala, 2 cm in Madikeri, Mani, Mysuru, Sullia and 1 cm in Mangaluru, Hale Mysuru, Kanakapura, Srirangapatna and Malavalli.
Light rains recorded in Mangaluru in the past 24 hours have brought down temperatures.
According to the data released by the India Meteorological Department, light rains are likely in the next two to three days in various parts of the state.
