Won’t Contest in Elections, Will Remain Active in Politics: Srinivasa Prasad

Mysuru: Congress party in Karnataka has spoiled sanctity of the election process by its ‘Cash for Vote’ policy in the bypolls held for two vacant assembly seats in Karnataka, said Srinivasa Prasad who contested as BJP candidate in Nanjangud assembly constituency and was defeated by Congress party candidate on Thursday. Srinivasa Prasad speaking to the media persons after the bypoll results alleged that, Congress has defeated him using his money power and distributing cash to the voters in the constituency where he was defeated.
Speaking on his political future, he said that, he contested 13 elections so far and won’t contest in any elections in the future. However, he will continue in active politics as a responsible politician.
