Police File Charge Sheet on ‘Maasthi Gudi’ Movie Shooting Tragedy

Ramanagar: Ramanagar District Crime Branch police  filed 400 page charge sheet before Magadi First JMFC court against six persons in connection with the death of two Kannada actors when they were engaged in Kannada movie, ‘Mastigudi’ shooting last year.  

The producer of the movie Sundar P Gowda, director Nagashekhar, assistant director Siddarth, action director Ravi Verma, unit manager Bharath and pilot of the chopper Prakash Biradar booked under Indian Penal Code (IPC) section 304 and 34 in the charge sheet filed. The police also named 70 persons as witnesses in the case. 

The police said that the shooting team didn’t obtain permission from the concerned authorities to shoot the scenes of the movie at the premises of Thippagondanahalli lake in Ramanagar district where two Kannada actors drowned in the lake after jumping from a helicopter, last year.
