Bengaluru: BJP party high command decided to resolve the internal issues of its Karnataka BJP unit peacefully through dialogues by calling a meeting of dissents of party unit in Karnataka. The decision came in the wake of upcoming state assembly elections scheduled to be held in 2018 as any disciplinary action against dissents may adversely impact the party image. If talks between dissents and Karnataka BJP President BS Yeddyurappa fail, then national leadership is expected to take disciplinary action against dissents.
Meanwhile, BJP high command decided to send BJP leader Murlidhar Rao to Karnataka who is also state party unit in charge to have formal talks with the dissents and BS Yeddyurappa.
