Summer Shower Cools Karnataka; Hassan Records Maximum 7 Cm Rainfall

Hassan: Summer showers cooled many of the regions in Karnataka in the last 24 hours and south interior, coastal, north interior Karnataka recorded good summer rainfall on Tuesday late evening. Hassan district recorded maximum rainfall of 7 cm followed by Madikeri, Bhagamandala 3 cm, Dharmasthala, Somwarrpet, Madapura, HD Kote, Chintamani 2 cm, Kushalnagar, NR Pura, Kottigehara, Shivani, Channarayapatna, Nanjangud recorded 1 cm rainfall each in the last 24 hours. Light rainfall is expected to continue in coastal Karnataka in the next 72 hours. Meanwhile, Kalburgi recorded maximum temperature of 40 degree Celsius on Tuesday.
