Funeral of Chamarajanagar Based BSF Jawan held with State Honour

Chamarajanagar: Funeral ceremony of deceased BSF jawan, N Putta Swamy (42) held in Chamarajanagar district on Wednesday morning with all state honours. The deceased was working as a cook at BSF Battalion 145 Batch in Assam and was died following heart attack on Monday.

The deceased was admitted to nearby hospital soon after the attack, however medical treatment failed to save him from death. His body was brought via Bengaluru in a flight to his wife’s native place, Kudluru village of Chamarajanagar district on Tuesday night. The funeral was held on Wednesday morning in the presence of villagers, deputy commissioner B Ramu and others.
