Bomb Naga to Remain in Police Custody till May 22

Bengaluru: Hennur police took former BBMP member, ex-rowdysheeter Bomb Naga and his two sons Gandhi and Shastri into their custody for 11 days following an order from local court here in Bengaluru on Friday evening. The police requested the court to handover the trio to their custody as the police yet get detailed information on Naga, his gang and its operation. 

Bomb Naga and his two sons were arrested by Karnataka police in Tamil Nadu on Thursday. The three produced before the court in the state capital on Friday morning for further legal formalities. The trio undergone for a medical examination at Ambedkar Medical College before the court proceedings and found fit to face interrogation. 

The three accused were absconding for 27 days in Tamil Nadu after a police raid on Naga’s residences and offices in Bengaluru found unaccounted cash, documents pertaining to movable, unmovable properties worth in crores, recently banned currency notes worth in crores. Meanwhile, Bomb Naga’s wife Laxmi is very likely to be arrested by the police for an inquiry as she allegedly supported illegal dealings of Bomb Naga.
