Moderate to Heavy Rainfall May Occur in Many Places of Karnataka for Next 3 to 4 Days: IMD

Bengaluru: Moderate to heavy rain is likely to occur at many places over all the districts of south interior Karnataka whereas light to moderate rainfall activities are very likely to occur at many places over all the districts of Coastal Karnataka and at isolated places over Haveri, Dharwad,. Gadag, Kalaburgi, Vijayapura, Raichur districts of Karnataka. Dry weather is likely to prevail over remaining districts of North Interior Karnataka for the next three to four days said India Meteorological Department (IMD).
In the last two days, maximum temperature rose at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and there was no large change over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka. Raichur recorded the highest maximum temperature of 42.4 deg C in Karnataka. Rainfall occurred at most places over Coastal Karnataka, South Interior Karnataka and at a few places over North Interior Karnataka. Meanwhile, heavy rainfall recorded in Hosanagara 8 cm and KR Pet 7 cm.
