Honeytrap gang busted, 3 men arrested

Kota: Three members of a honeytrap gang operating in the city have been been arrested, police said today.

Three women of the gang had already been arrested on May 20 and sent to judicial custody.

The gang would extort money from businessmen here while threatening them with rape allegations.

Mahendra Singh alias Chacha, Firoj Khan and Shanu alias Salim of Kotri area of the city were arrested two days ago, said Amar Nath Sub Inspector and investigating officer in the case at Nayapura police station of the city.

The police produced them before a court that remanded them in custody for two days.

Following the completion of the police remand period, the three were yesterday again produced before the court that sent them to jail.
