Three Naxalites to Surrender Before Chikkamagaluru DC Office Today

Chikkamagaluru: Three naxalites will surrender before Chikkamagaluru deputy commissioner office on Monday (June 05) afternoon, police sources said. The trio were engaged with naxal activities for the last 15 years and have decided to surrender themselves before the government to join the main stream. The three naxalites have been identified as Gadag based Chinnamma, Mudigere native Kanyakumari and Raichur resident Shivu. The naxalites have been decided to change the direction of their life by joining the main stream and are scheduled to surrender before deputy commissioner G Sathyavathi today.
The trio had been working for naxalite groups in Kalasa, Chikkamagaluru and neighbouring districts for the last many years and cases filed against them at various police stations in the district. The surrendered will be provided with package declared for naxalites to join the main stream.
