Cloud Sowing Process to Begin Soon in Karnataka: CM Siddaramaiah

Mysuru: Karnataka state government will take necessary steps for cloud sowing this year following prevailing drought and deficient monsoon rains, said Karnataka Chief Minister Saiddaramaiah speaking here in Mysuru.
The state government has already invited tenders for cloud sowing and the sowing would start soon, the chief minister said answering to a question. As of now, the state would have witnessed good rainfall however, there is no sufficient rainfall in most of the areas in Karnataka even if first month end of monsoon season is nearing, he added.
