Water Ministers of Karnataka and Goa Express Interest to Solve Mahadayi Issue by Talks

Vijayapura: An unofficial talk over Mahadayi water issue was held between Karnataka State Minister for Water Resources MB Patil and his counterpart, Goa Water Resources Minister Vinod Palyekar at Somadevarahatti in Vijayapura district after attending a festival programme.
The water issue already moved to court however both ministers have expressed their willingness to resolve the issue by talks, sources said. The duo reportedly to hold meeting near future to clear the issue through an out of court settlement.
