Four Wild Elephants Die after Electrocution in Kodagu

Kodagu: Four wild elephants including two calves were died on Tuesday after the animals’ touched electric line which fell on the ground following heavy rainfall. The incident occurred at Kannagal of Virajpet taluk of Kodagu district. The number of elephants died following electrocution has touched 6 in the last two weeks. On June 14, two elephants died after electrocution, locals said.
