Bengaluru: JDS National President HD Deve Gowda has warned his grandson Prajwal Revanna that he would face disciplinary action if he continues with his irresponsible statements against JDS which could ruin the party status in the state. In a damage control exercise, Deve Gowda speaking in an emergency press conference here in the state capital on Friday said, he never indulged in suitcase culture and he is pained by his grandson’s irresponsible statement. Gowda said he had brought cash at higher interest rate to face elections and strengthen his party further.

Prajwal is keen to join politics and had shown interest to contest in elections from Belur state assembly constituency. However, his request to contest from Belur was rejected and this may have provoked him earlier, Deve Gowda said.
“No outsider can split my family creating issues within JDS and party issues will remain as party issues and they can’t enter within the sphere of my personal, family life,” HD Deve Gowda said answering to a question.
