DYSP Ganapathi Suicide Case: Supreme Court Serves Notice to Minister KJ George, 2 IPS Officers

Bengaluru/New Delhi: Supreme Court has served notice to Karnataka State Minister for Bengaluru Urban Development KJ George, IPS officers Pranab Mohanty and AM Prasad on Friday inconnection with mysterious suicide case of Kodagu based DYSP Ganapathi which had attracted public attention last year.

Earlier, a two member Apex Court bench served notice to only Karnataka state government on the issue. Later, the bench decided to serve notice to other officials also to know their opinion on the move to handover the case to Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).  Earlier, Father of late DYSP Ganapathi, MK Kushalappa moved to Apex Court seeking a CBI enquiry into the mysterious death of his son. Hearing the petition Apex Court served notice to the concerned.
