Bengaluru Police Arrest 8 after Young Movie Artist Honey Trapped, Abducted, Robbed

Bengaluru: Bagalagunte police have arrested eight member gang inconnection with honey trap, assault and robbery case on a young Kannada cinema co-actor in the state capital. The arrested gang members have been identified as Mysuru NR Mohalla based Divya (19), Kamakshipalya resident Thilak alias Rebel (24), Lokesh (27) from Magadi Road, Chikkasandra based K Manjunatha (21), Herohalli based Kiran (24), Puneeth (24), Madan (24), and Sumanth (21).

Divya was recently arrived in the state capital and got company of Thilak who allegedly running prostitution racket in Bengaluru. With the support of Divya, Thilak build a team of youth to rob rich youths after making them to fall in a honey trap. Recently she got a cell phone number of a young movie artist and using his number Divya used to call him daily to give a chance to play roles movies including serials at any cost. She also added that she is ready to do anything to become a movie artist.

Finally the young artists trapped and arrived at the spot where the girl asked him to meet. The actor later abducted by the gang from the location where he arrived to meet the girl. Later, the gang kept the young artist in a shed for two days at Bagalagunte police station area limits. Later, they released the actor after robbing his cash, valuable cell phones and ATM card.  After his release, the youth filed a complaint at Bagalagunte on the incident. The police arrested the girl and her companions based on the cell phone call records of the complainant.
