Karnataka Govt Transfers 2 Top Cops from Parappana Agrahara Prison

Bengaluru: In the wake of recent Parappana Agrahara Central Prison row, Karnataka state government has transferred two top police officers including, Parappana Agrahara jail chief superintendent and superintendent to new locations.

According to an order on Thursday, the state government has transferred Parappana Agrahara Central Prison Superintendent Krishna Kumar to Kalburgi central jail and he will be replaced by Kalburgi prison superintendent Somashekhar.

Meanwhile, Agrahara prison superintendent Dr R Anitha will serve at Dharwad central prison and she is expected to be replaced by Dharwad central jail superintendent PS Ramesh.
