Air India to Start Hubballi-Bengaluru Flight Service from August First Week

Hubballi/Bengaluru: Following a request by Lok Sabha MP Prahlad Joshi and leader of opposition at Karnataka State Legislative Assembly, Jagadeesh Shetter, Air India is scheduled to start direct flight service from Hubballi to Bengaluru from first week of August 2017.
The leaders urged the Air India authorities to start direct flights on all seven days of a week. However, in the initial stage the company has decided to operate new flight service for five days a week between the two cities.
According to the Air India sources, the flight between the two catties will operate five days a week staring from first week of August, 2017. The company had decided to start flight service between Hubballi and Bengaluru 3 months earlier, however following lack sufficient man power, the launch of the service postponed indefinitely.
The both leaders also urged Air India to fulfil a long pending demand, direct Hubballi-Mumbai flight service. Responding to the demand, Air India authorities have asked their staff to start preliminary works to be completed to begin the proposed service.
