Ramanagar: Congress Party leader, Karnataka state minister, DK Shivakumar alleged that pressure is being made by BJP on MLAs of Congress Party in Gujarat as part of party’s countrywide horse trade politics forcing the leaders of other parties to join it. The minister was speaking at Ramanagar here on Sunday.

Following so called horse trade politics and pressure from BJP leaders to join their party, 42 Congress MLAs from Gujarat have arrived at a resort in Bengaluru to protest themselves and to remain as Congress party leaders, Shivakumar noted speaking to media persons here in Ramanagar after unexpected arrival of the MLAs.

There is no pressure by Congress leaders on 42 Gujarat MLAs to remain in the party or on any issue. They are expected to visit some tourist spots here and next course of action by the MLAs is not known, minister said answering to a question.
