Karnataka Chief Minister to Reshuffle State Cabinet Soon

Bengaluru: Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah is all set to reshuffle his cabinet after Congress party high command signaled green for cabinet reshuffle recently. Speaking to the media persons in Bengaluru on Saturday, chief minister informed that he would reshuffle his cabinet soon and allocate portfolios to the new faces.

Earlier, the chief minister handed over a list of MLAs, MLCs who could be appointed as state cabinet ministers. The list of congress leaders handed over to the Congress high command recently include MLCs HM Revanna, RB Timmapur, Malavalli MLA Narendra Swamy, Tiptur MLA Shadakshari, Yadgir MLA AB Malakareddy.

Present Karnataka State Minister for Forest and Environment B Ramanath Rai is very likely to be elevated as home minister. Charge of forest ministry is very likely to be handed over to another leader, Congress party sources said.
