Police Keep Vigil on Dera Sacha Sauda Centre in Mysuru

Mysuru: Police have made elaborate security arrangements on Monday at the premises of Dera Sacha Sauda centre near Siddalingapura village located outskirts of Mysuru city as a CBI special court at Rohtak is scheduled to pronounce the quantum of punishment against Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh inconnection with a rape case on August 28.
The ashram located near Mysuru-Bengaluru road has been surrounded by the police to prevent any unpleasant incident in the ashram and its surrounding area after the court verdict. District armed reserve police personnel have been deployed in the area to ensure the safety and security in the locality.
Women followers of Dera Sacha Sauda reportedly fled from the ashram last night while men have been lockedup themselves within the spiritual centre for their own safety, sources said.
