Boy Dies, 10 People Injure as Tempo Losses Control During Festival Procession in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: A boy died while as many as 10 people injured as a tempo lost its control during the Ganesha festival procession at Kurubarahalli in Bengaluru on Sunday night. The incident was occurred after brake of the vehicle failed unexpectedly, reports said.

The incident took place on Sunday night at round 10 PM as a group of youths were on their way to immerse Lord Ganesha’s idol. The locals immediately admitted all the injured to a nearby hospital for treatment soon after the accident however, a boy died in the hospital following severe injuries. Police from Mahalakshmi police station rushed into the spot soon after the incident and registered a case on the incident.
