New Delhi: Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has taken over the Water Ministry, giving himself a department for the first time since he took charge in 2015.
Sources say that he was unhappy with the performance of minister Rajendra Pal Gautam in the Department.
Kejriwal met Gautam at his residence on Saturday and conveyed the decision to him. This will be Kejriwal’s first ministerial portfolio since taking over as CM in February 2015.
Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal, according to an official message this morning, has “approved the portfolio reshuffle in the Delhi government.” As minister, Mr Kejriwal will take charge of the Delhi Jal Board
