Chamrajpet in Bengaluru to Witness Last Rites of Gauri Lankesh Today

Bengaluru: Last rites of senior journalist, social activist Gauri Lankesh is scheduled at a burial ground in Chamrajpet in the state capital on September 6. Postmortem procedure has been conducted at Victoria hospital of the city on Wednesday morning and the body will be kept for public viewing at Samsa Open Theater for a duration of three hours, said Indrajit Lankesh, brother of the deceased.

Progressive thinkers, cine artists, movie producers, journalists, members of left parties and others have rushed to the hospital on Wednesday morning to pay their last respect to the deceased.
