J-K: Mufti meets Governor, discusses security situation

Srinagar : Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti today discussed with Governor N N Vohra various issues including the state’s internal and external security situation and the recent attacks on police personnel.
During the over hour-long discussions at Raj Bhavan here, the Governor and chief minister reviewed all major issues relating to the growth and development of the state, internal and external security situation, an official spokesman said.
They also discussed continuing attacks on police personnel, time schedule of rural and urban local body elections, cleaning of Dal Lake and various other matters, he said. The governor stressed the importance of ensuring the transparent and accountable functioning of the administrative system, eradication of inefficient and corrupt elements and the crucial need for looking after the interests of youth, the spokesman said.
