IT Dept Conducts Raid on Kalyani Group of Companies in Bengaluru, Other Cities

Bengaluru: Officials from Income Tax (IT) department raided the offices, showrooms, store rooms and others of Kalyani Group of Companies on Thursday in Bengaluru and other parts of the country. The raid has begun at 06.00 AM today on September 14 at 8 different locations in the country, sources said.

As of now, the officers have been verifying the documents, records at 8 different locations in the country including Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai and other cities. As many as 150 officers reportedly involved in the operation being conducted on Kalyan Group of Companies which include Kalyani Developers, Kalyan Motors and other companies.

The offices of the company located at Bannerghatta, Nayandahalli and other parts of the state capital are being checked by the IT department, sources said.
