Probe into bus stand roof collapse begins

Coimbatore :  The one-man commission of inquiry today began the probe into the roof collapse at the bus stand here, which claimed five lives on September seven.

Accompanied by senior officials and engineers, the commission headed by Gagandeep Singh Bedi visited the accident site and carried out inspection of the debris at the bus stand, official sources said.

The committee also would suggest its recommendations to the government to prevent such incidents in future. It will submit a report within two months.
