Injured white tiger dies in Bannerghatta National park

Bengaluru: The White tiger, which was recently attacked by Royal Bengal Tigers in Bannerghatta National park, near Bengaluru has died today.
Two tigers were injured on Sunday afternoon, after they sneaked into the gates separating them with Royal Bengal tigers.
The deceased white tiger Shreyas (9) was seviourly injured in the attack. Another tiger Amar is improving and he had injuries on his jaw and paw.
Santosh Kumar, Director is the Park, told NDTV that nine-year-old Shreyas died around 8 pm on Wednesday evening. The tiger had been showing signs of improvement and park authorities had been hopeful of his recovery.
The Bengal tiger, India’s national animal, is on the list of endangered species on the International Union for Conservation of Nature Red List.
