Seven People Lost Lives in Karnataka Amid Heavy Rainfall

Hassan: Seven persons died amid heavy rainfall activities in Karnataka during the past 24 hours at three separate incidents reported on Wednesday. Five people including 2 women drowned after a car fell into a lake at Hanumanahalli in Holenarasipura taluk of Hassan district. The deceased have been identified as Anil (22), a resident of Thatteekere located in Holenarasipura and Shivamogga based Umesh. The identity of the other deceased is yet to be known.
A man was reportedly died after the wall of residence collapsed on Tuesday night while a woman lost her life following an electric shock at KR Puram in the state capital.
