Congress works towards communal harmony: CM Siddaramaiah

Chitradurga: CM Siddaramaiah said that a Congress Chief Minister is sure to inaugurate the Dasara Celebration 2018 in Mysuru.
Addressing the gathering here, Siddaramaiah said that some of the media houses reported that he had said he would inaugurate the Dasara celebrations next year also. “There is no doubt over the Congress retaining its power under my leadership in the upcoming Assembly polls. However, the Congress high command will choose the leader of the House and the next chief ministerial candidate. Media persons should stop creating confusion among thier readers.” he said.
Addressing the media persons at the Sharana Samskruthi Utsav-2017 CM opined regarding a statement made by a BJP leader R Ashoka who had called him “Benkiramaiah”, he said that RSS aims at creating communal tension across the country wherein Congress works towards communal harmony and peace amongst all religions.
