Former militant shot dead

Srinagar: Suspected militants today shot dead a man in Tral area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, the police said.
Rafiq Ahmad Bhat alias Dadaa, a former militant, was shot at and critically injured by the ultras at Tral Bala at 1.50 pm, a police official said. He said Bhat was taken to a local hospital where doctors referred him to a hospital here.
However, he succumbed to injuries on the way.
