Karnataka High Court Gets HG Ramesh as its New Chief Justice

Bengaluru: Senior judge at Karnataka high court, Justice HG Ramesh has been appointed as Chief Justice at state’s top court on October 7, 2017 as current chief justice SK Mukherjee will retire from service on October 9. Newly appointed judge is expected to take over his charge on Tuesday.
According an order from Ministry of Law and Justice on Saturday, Hunchadakatte Gopaliah Ramesh became chief justice of the Apex Court in Karnataka. HG Ramesh was born on January 16, 1957 and began his service as an advocate in 1982. He was appointed as an Additional Judge on May 12, 2003 at state high court.
