Bengaluru: Mayor R.Sampath Raj and Deputy Padmavathi N paid a visit to the deceased soldier Narendra’s residence
The mayor expressed his condolences to his family “a young soldier demise is a huge loss to the nation. I have spoken to Chief Minister on providing financial aides to the family and also to order the further probe into the death”.
Army officials have stated that Narendra shot himself with his service revolver at the army camp but his parents suspect a foul play behind their son’s death.
Narendra was found dead on Sunday and the family came to know about the incident early hours on Monday. He survived by his father, mother, a younger brother and a younger sister Bhavani R.
