Actress Deepika visits Health Care Centre in Davangere

Davangere: Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone, visited a primary health care centre of Jagalur Talukhere here today.

The actress who founded The Live Love Laugh, held an awareness program on World Mental Health Day here.

The Foundation led by Deepika gave a financial assistance to the awareness and treatment of mental health in the Jagalur taluk with the help of the APD Foundation.

The Live Love Laugh Foundation is an organization to prevent and deal with depression. It was created in June 2015 by Deepika Padukone as a non-profit NGO to bring awareness to mental health in India. In 2016, the organization launched a program called “You Are Not Alone”. The goal of the program is to provide education regarding stress and depression. The program has been conducted in more than 270 schools since its inception. Facebook is working with the organization to prevent suicides from being livestreamed.
