Miranpur violence: 14 people arrested

Muzaffarnagar: Fourteen people have been arrested for allegedly pelting stones during a clash between two communities on October 10 in Miranpur town here, police said today.

Two persons were injured and several cars damaged after a quarrel between two men on a minor issue turned violent.

According to Circle Officer S K S Pratap, 14 people have been arrested. The case was registered against 30 people out of which 15 were named. Additional police force continues to patrol the area.
