Matsya Kanya Emerges from MG Road Pothole in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: In an attempt to grab the attention of the government on deadly road potholes in Bengaluru city, Kannada actress Sonu Gowda posed near a pothole in the disguise of Matsya Kanya on Friday. 

A huge pothole on MG Road in the city was used to create a scene of swimming pool by artist, civic activist Badal Nanjundaswamy. Sonu Gowda dressed akin to Matsya Kanya and sat near the swimming pool like pothole.

Speaking on her unique protest, Sonu Gowda said, as an artist she has social responsibility to register her protest for the residents of the city. She also urged the concerned authorities to take necessary action to fill up all potholes in Bengaluru immediately.
