Former village head’s husband shot dead in UP

Pratapgarh (UP): A 47-year-old man was shot dead allegedly by some unidentified men in Jasmedha village in Lalganj area here, police said today.
Triloki Nath Gupta, husband of former village head Panditiyan Devi was shot near the village yesterday, they said.
He was rushed to the hospital in a serious condition where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment, they said adding the matter is being probed.
