Four on Their Way to Participate in Last Rites Die on Spot after Road Accident in Hospet

Hospet: Four people died on the spot after a Wagon R car and lorry collision reported at PK Halli in Hospet taluk of Bellary district on Saturday morning.

The deceased have been identified as car driver Srinivas (45), Venkatamma (46), Nalini (30), and another woman whose identity is yet to be known. The deceased were on their way to Hospet from Hiriyur of Chitradurga.

All the deceased were left Chitradurga for Hospet to participate in funeral ceremony of one of their close relatives. Gadiganur police reached the spot soon after the accident and registered a case on the incident.
