Ambedkar statue stolen from Haryana village

Palwal (Har): A statue of Dr B R Ambedkar was allegedly stolen by some unidentified persons in Meerapur village here, the police said.
The police was informed about the matter today following a complaint by the village sarpanch, Investigating Officer Dulichand said. The sarpanch claimed that the statue was stolen on October 19.
The complainant attempted to make enquiries at his level, but later informed the local police, the officer said.
A case has been registered and investigations are underway.
